A weekend where kids can be themselves, make friends, and have fun—while parents take a break!

📍 Where? Cooinda Retreats, a purpose-built, sensory-friendly space 🏕
👦 Who? Autistic & neurodiverse kids aged 6-14 + their families
🎯 Why? To create a space where kids feel safe, included, and supported—with activities designed just for them

✨ HOW DOES IT WORK?

Each 3-day, 2-night camp is packed with fun, structured, and flexible activities tailored for neurodiverse kids.

✔ Sensory-friendly environment – No overwhelming crowds or noise!
✔ Outdoor adventures – Nature play, campfires, and safe exploration 🌿
✔ Creative & social skill-building workshops – Art, music, movement 🎨🎭
✔ Parent & caregiver respite – Time for YOU to relax!
✔ NDIS-friendly program – Claimable under Core Supports or Capacity Building, with Cooinda Retreats funding parents and siblings’ participation through our fundraising efforts

👀 Not a one-size-fits-all camp! Your child chooses activities based on their comfort level and interests.

✅ Friday 25th April – Sunday 27th April
✅ Friday 11th July – Sunday 13th July
✅ Monday 29th September – Wednesday 1st October
✅ Friday 28th November – Sunday 30th November

💰 HOW DOES NDIS PAYMENT WORK?

Yes, NDIS can cover this! 🎉
💡 Funding categories:
✅ Core Supports – Assistance with Social & Community Participation
✅ Capacity Building – Increased Social & Community Participation

NDIS participants can use their funding for:
💰 Camp fees, activities, and accommodations
💰 Support workers (if required, they can attend too!)
